Minor Interface Issue - Half-Siblings

When viewing the profile page of a half-sibling, the section displaying the half-siblings lists the father or mother through whom the half-sibling relationship exists. There does seem to be a missing word though as you can see in the attached jpeg screenshot. I believe the phrase "On _'s side..." should be either "On father's side..." or "On mother's side..."

Hi,

That's exactly the same as I see on my Dutch/Nederlands page.
I also found it a bit strange.

Greetz,

Hi Jean Yves,

I'm not so sure it's an error. I don't think there's something missing.
I only see this way of putting the text when in English or Dutch/Nederlands.
If you look at the same page in Spanish or German there's no problem.
'Por parte de' or 'Von seite' is right. So when in English : 'on 's side' , imho means 'on the side of'(the marriage from .... with ....)
In Dutch/Nederlands: 'Van 's kant': means 'van de kant van'.
It's that sign - ' - that makes it a bit confusing I think.
I'll ask the opinion of the Dutch moderator Wim.

A very good point. I have no objection to your suggested wording. My only issue is that in English and apparently Dutch, there was a dangling possessive construction with a missing object. If the fix is to change it to not require a variable possessive that would be fine with me.

Hi Dan,

Our moderator from the Dutch forum, Wim, will take action to make changes on the Dutch side of Geneanet.
Don't know what will happen for the English users though.
He will suggest the engineers to use 'via'. That's a very commonly used word over here in Belgium and The Netherlands and it fits the definition perfectly.

This is starting to feel like multilateral treaty negotiations. I'm sure it will all be fine in the end.
