he born in Ponsacco in italy on 4.7.1885 (francesco Macchi)

and his father birth certifiate born in pontedera in italy on 1848 (faistino macchi)

and his wife born in marti in italy on 1848 (giovanna francesca pistoesi)

On the website http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/?q=gallery you can go back to 1808. With the full parish regords, you can go back easily to the 16th century.
